Court orders service on Buhari in
fresh disqualification suit
FEBRUARY 2, 2015 BY ADE
ADESOMOJU, ABUJA
A Federal High Court in Abuja has
ordered the service of court papers
on the presidential candidate of the
All Progressives Congress, Maj. Gen.
Mohammadu Buhari, a fresh suit
seeking an order disqualifying him
from participating in the February 14
poll.
Already, there is a pending direct
criminal complaint against Buhari
before a Federal Capital Territory
Magistrate’s Court in Abuja asking
the court to direct that the former
Head of State “be brought to book”
for allegedly claiming on an oath that
he had a certificate he did not obtain.
Justice Adeniyi Ademola who is
presiding over the fresh suit on
Monday made an order of substituted
service on Buhari and the
Independent National Electoral
Commission, who are the two
defendants in the suit.
The court fixed February 9 for the
hearing of the suit.
The plaintiff, Max Ozoaka, wants the
court to disqualify Buhari from
participating in the election for failing
to accompany his form submitted to
Independent National Electoral
Commission with all relevant
academic credentials.
He contended that the INEC FORM
CF 001 submitted to INEC by the
APC candidate was incomplete and
therefore urged the court to declare
the form as “not in conformity with
the form prescribed under the
Electoral Act.”
He further stated that the failure of
Buhari to accompany the INEC Form
with evidence of his educational
qualifications and evidence of his
birth certificate or affidavit of
declaration of age had altogether
rendered the form inchoate.
Ozoaka, in a supporting affidavit to
the originating summons, stated that
the INEC Form submitted by Buhari
did not meet the requirements under
sections 31(1)(2) & (3), and 31(8) of
the Electoral Act 2010 (as amended).
He also faulted some pieces of
information contained in other
documents attached to the form,
including Buhari’s voter card which
described the presidential candidate
as a public servant.
The plaintiff urged the court to
declare the voter card, the photocopy
of which was attached to INEC Form
CF 001, was false on the grounds
that Buhari was not a public servant.
as of when the voter card was
issued.
In the suit marked, FHC/ABJ/
CS/14/2015, filed by Max Ozoaka,
the plaintiff raised eight questions for
the court’s determination and prayed
for among others, an order
disqualifying Buhari from contesting
or participating in the election.
The plaintiff queried the authenticity
of the statement of result or result
sheet presented by Buhari on the
grounds that it was bearing
‘Mohamed’ Buhari as against
‘Muhammadu’ which is the real name of the APC presidential candidate.

NESA SPORT FESTIVAL: REPORT DAY 1

With great respect and loyalty i write the report for the
first NESA FESTIVAL.
Today being the first day of the NESA SPORT FESTIVAL
which is also the first of it kind in the history of the
school.
Football is football and talent is talent. But the mindset
of your team makes all the difference.
The programme of the day starts at exactly
15:40pm,opening prayer was conducted by the one and
only giant of the department in person of mr Gabriel (H
GIG). The next event was the presentation by all
levels,as it is 15:50pm the match commenced between
100L VS 300L MALE.
It was an interesting game, for the game turn goaless
for the first half.
The way a team plays as a whole determines its
success. You may have the greatest bunch of individual
stars in the world, but if they don’t play together, the
club won’t be worth a dime.
Due to the lackness of team work of the 300L students,
they came to lose the macth against the 100L team with
2 goals to nil.
Every day is a new opportunity. You can build on
yesterday’s success or put its failures behind and start
over again. That’s the way life is, with a new game
every day, and that’s the way football is.The losing
team should try to improve in their competitions
ahead.Mr Gbenga from glo presented gift to the man of
the match from 100L.
The funniest and most embarrassing part of the
opening ceremony was the disturbance of the SUG
EXCOS majorly caused by the so called WELFARE
DIRECTOR who due to his calousness harrass one of
the organisation that sponsored the event (globalcom
nigeria).
But was later settled by the MR LAWAL,MR.ODUYEMI
and MISS LAIDE with apology from the sug president.
Football is football and talent is talent. But the mindset
of your team makes all the difference.
The female team football also starts at 18:07pm with
200L VS 100L,it was also an interesting part as 200L
won the game with a penalty shoot out.
With this i bring you to the end of today’s event.
I am com. Adeleke Abd.Warith Abiodun.

Women who use sex toys are more decent than prostitutes – Bisi Ibidapo-Obe

Why is there even a comparison? Actress Bisi Ibidapo
Obe says women who use sex toys are more decent
than prostitutes who give their bodies to different
men and in the end come down with all kinds of
sexually transmitted diseases. Bisi, who sells sex toys
in her lingerie shop in Lagos, says there is no big deal
in using sex toys
“It’s not a big deal. It is only our mentality here in
Nigeria that is somehow. In the western world,
they don’t see it as anything big. Left to me,
anybody using sex toys is even decent compared
to a prostitute. If you are using sex toy, you are
better than a woman jumping from one bed to the
other. Before such a person realizes, she has
contracted sexually transmitted diseases. She can
even be infected with HIV/AIDS. But with the use
of sex toys, nothing like that can happen to
you.”she told encomium mag..

Moment Nigerian man & his bride are arrested in the UK for sham marriage.

This is the moment a Nigerian man and his bride
were handcuffed by immigration police in the UK,
just moments before their sham wedding ceremony.
The suspicious registrar had alerted police after the
couple couldn’t spell each others names before the
ceremony began. She also noticed the man reading
details about his bride-to-be from the back of his
hand. Lol.
The man is 33 year old Joseph Iwueke, and his bride-
that-never was is 29 year old Slovakian Ingrida
Stojkova. He was going to marry her so he could
legally stay in Britain. They were busted by police and
were charged with conspiracy.
Iwueke, Stojkova and two others, Obinna Odelugo,
Robert Stojka who fixed the wedding have now been
jailed for conspiracy to facilitate a breach of UK
immigration law. See more pics after the cut.

I will do better in my second Term – Jonathan

Pres. Jonathan says he will do better in his second
term if given the opportunity to rule again. He said
this while speaking to traditional rulers in Kogi ahead
of his campaign rally in the state earlier today..
“Whatever we have done in the last four years, we
believe that we will even do more in the next four
years. Most governments all over the world do
better in their second tenure. This is because the
Presidents are more stable that time, especially in
these two terms arrangement. They are more
stable. They sit down and plan for the country and
focus on key areas.” he said
